On 09.02.2024, in the reading room of the Kostanay Social-Technical University named after academician Z. Aldamzhar, a training seminar was held on the topic: “First aid for injuries, burns and frostbite”.

The main goal was to inform students about first aid in extreme situations.

During the event, a paramedic at the disaster medicine center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kostanay region, K. A. Ukubasova, explained and demonstrated on a mannequin first aid techniques: indirect cardiac massage, mouth-to-mouth breathing, Heimlich maneuver. An educational video was also presented containing information on how rescuers determine the extent of a victim’s injury.

Students were given the opportunity to ask questions of interest, to which they received comprehensive answers. Those who wished could take part in a practical skill. A group photo was taken for memory.
