On November 29, 2023, in the foyer of the Kostanay Social-Technical University named after academician Z. Aldamzhar, an event dedicated to World AIDS Day among youth was held.

The main goal and objective is to inform students about the prevention of HIV infection, promote an active healthy lifestyle and a tolerant attitude towards HIV-infected people.

During the event, an epidemiologist at the Kostanay Regional Center for Prevention and Control of AIDS spoke about the route of transmission of HIV infection, about drug addicts and who should be treated with methadone therapy. Those interested could undergo anonymous and free rapid testing.

Students were given the opportunity to ask questions of interest, to which they received comprehensive answers.
Information and educational material was distributed, and a group photo was taken as a memory.
