On April 23, 2024, a training seminar on the topic “Anti-Corruption Education” was held in Astana as part of the “Integrity Review” project.

From our university, the senior lecturer of the Department of Law, Baizhanov E.A., took part in the seminar.

The speakers of the seminar were representatives of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OSED): Frederic Byom – Doctor of Economics, Oksana Gus – Doctor of Economics.

The following topics were covered:
— Opportunities and limitations of increasing integrity awareness
and integrity and anti-corruption, especially among young people;
— Addressing issues of integrity and anti-corruption in the curriculum and in extracurricular initiatives;
— Discussion of methodological and practical problems of anti-corruption education in schools and universities;
— Solving ethical dilemmas and instilling values ​​in public service;
— Development of specialized professional training on anti-corruption, honesty and integrity for civil servants.
