On 02/03/2023, in the reading room of the Kostanay Social-Technical University named after academician Z. Aldamzhar, a lecture was held on the topic “Prevention of tuberculosis”, dedicated to the month of tuberculosis prevention.

The main goal and task is education on the prevention of tuberculosis.

During the event, the general practitioner of the PSE “Polyclinic No. 3”  of Kostanay city Turman G. A. revealed the issues of the emergence and spread of tuberculosis: who is an asymptomatic carrier; about the fact that you can not self-medicate and that examination and treatment for suspected tuberculosis in the Republic of Kazakhstan is free of charge, and also stressed the importance of taking care of yourself and your loved ones.

A video clip was shown followed by a survey.

Students were given the opportunity to ask questions, to which they received comprehensive answers.

Informational and educational material was distributed, a group photo was taken with guests from the clinic.
