Creative competition “The best New Year’s decoration of the floor”

Dec 28, 2022

On the initiative of the President and the university administration, on New Year’s Eve, a creative contest “The best New Year’s decoration of the floor” took place, in which students, staff, and teaching staff actively participated.

How pleasant it is to look at multi-colored tinsel, decorated Christmas trees, and colourful garlands! There is this feeling of a magical holiday, which we look forward to every year! On the eve of the New Year, students, staff, and teaching staff did their best – they decorated each floor and the hall of the main building.

As part of the competition, it was necessary to demonstrate an original approach by decorating the floors with New Year’s materials. The participants of the competition realized their creative potential to the full extent, and the New Year atmosphere reigned on each floor: from homemade Christmas tree balls, ending with impromptu gifts. All participants approached the competition creatively, and it was difficult for us to choose the most beautifully designed floor. The participants impressed the jury with their unusual and original design.

The main evaluation criteria in the competition were:

  • Design
  • Individuality
  • Creative finds in performance
  • Author’s idea and originality of the idea
  • Compliance with the New Year theme
  • The presence of symbols of the year
  • Original Christmas snowflake

The places are distributed as follows:

1st place – 3rd floor, 6th floor,

2nd place – 4th floor, 8th floor

3rd place – 5th floor, 7th floor

It is our pleasure to express separate words of gratitude for the design of the floors to Sagnaeva K.A. and Khabdullina R.B., who created a masterpiece with their own hands – compositions of wintery, New Year’s ikebana from branches, fir cones, sweets, Christmas tree decorations, beads, colourful balls and toys.

Floors – winners and participants received diplomas and letters of appreciation from the Rector.
