A forum on the socialization of youth was held at ENU with the participation of vice-rectors of universities, representatives of the ministry and students. The event is dedicated to topical issues of higher education and science.

Nurken Turarovich Baykadamov, Professor of the Department of Business and Management, took part in the Forum on the Socialization of Youth, Astana, on behalf of our university.

The work of forum was opened by Minister Sayasat Nurbek. He focused on the issues of accessibility of education, university infrastructure, inclusive education, internationalization of higher education and digitalization.

According to the minister, one of the key directions of the ministry is maintaining access to higher education. “Why is this issue so urgent? It is due to strong changes in demographic growth. The number of students will grow from 626,000 to 800,000 by 2025. In 2030, their number will be more than 1 million. In 2030, the amount of scholarships will be increased by 100%. In connection with the demographic growth in the country, it is planned to consider additional support mechanisms.
