The university departments conduct research work of students in SRWS circles. The research results are published in the proceedings of student conferences. Students take part in subject Olympiads and SRWS competitions in accordance with educational programs.

On April 11-12, 2024, an inter-university scientific and practical conference of students and master’s students “Studentship – the vanguard of the intellectual future” was held at the Kostanay Social-Technical University named after academician Z. Aldamzhar, dedicated to the Day of Science Workers and the 190th anniversary of the birth of educator Shokan Valikhanov.

The following breakout sessions were held on April 11, 2024:

Section No.1 – Problems and Prospects for the Development of Socio-Economic Transformations in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Section No.2 – Legal Aspects of the Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Section No.3 – The Factuality of Continuous Education for Personal Development.

Section No.4 – Problems of Modernization of Natural Science Education.

Section No.5 – Current Issues in the Field of Technical Sciences and Information Technology.

Following the sectional meetings, students were awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree diplomas.

On April 12, 2024, at 10:00, a plenary session of the inter-university scientific and practical conference was held in the university reading room.

Topic of the report: Assessment of the State of the Environment in the Fyodorovsky district.

6. Karimova Dayana, 3rd year student of the Foreign Philology specialty.

Supervisor: Kuzhabaeva G.T., Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor.

Topic of the report: Legal Aspects of the Provision of Public Services in the Field of Copyright.

The conference winners were awarded first-degree diplomas and memorable gifts.

A collection of materials from the multi-university scientific and practical conference of students and master’s students “Studentship – the vanguard of the intellectual future” has been published in four volumes of 65 p.s.

Students of our university annually participate in Olympiads and scientific competitions held in Kazakhstan and Russia. Table 6 presents information about the winners of the Olympiads and competitions.

Students of the educational program “Jurisprudence” Shokaeva Anara, Zhailubaeva Gulnaz, Sulimenko Vladimir in October 2023 took part in the international student Internet Olympiad “Electoral Systems of the Countries of the World” among students of higher educational institutions of the CIS member states. The organizer of the event is the Interparliamentary Assembly (IPA) of the CIS. Students were awarded certificates of participation.

Students of the EP “Jurisprudence” Shokaeva Anara, Zhailubaeva Gulnaz, Maratova Sabina on April 18, 2024, took part in the Republican Subject Olympiad in Jurisprudence among students of higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Turan University, Astana. The students were awarded certificates of participation.

3rd year students of the educational program “Information Systems” Dudnik Danil, Almukhambetov Ilyas and Turmanov Asan took part:

– from April 25-26, 2024, in the II stage of the XVI Republican subject Olympiad among students in the field of training 6B061 Information and Communication Technologies, held on the basis of Toraigyrov University, Pavlodar;

– from April 29 to May 4, 2024, at the IT hackathon “KuickHack’24 on the basis of the NJC “Pavlodar Pedagogical University named after A. Margulan”. Students were awarded certificates of participation.

1st year student of EP 6B01528 Physics-Informatics, Salavat Kashapov with a research paper on the topic: “Using Cloud Technology in Creating an Information Resource Using the Example of an Electronic School Library”, scientific supervisor – senior teacher, Azataeva K.B. participated in April 2024 in:

– the second stage of the republican competition of scientific research works of students among higher educational institutions in the educational program Information Systems (Bachelor);

– XVI Republican competition of scientific research works of students among higher educational institutions of EP 6B01528 Physics-Informatics

The university departments hold scientific seminars for master’s students, where they hear reports on the work done by master’s students (research conducted on the topic of the dissertation, preparation of articles and participation in scientific internships and international conferences).

In addition to conferences, during the year the university organized 2 Olympiads (in disciplines), 4 round tables, debates, quizzes, and theme evenings together with teachers.
