At the Kostanay Social-Technical University named after academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar implementation of educational programs for the elderly (50+) within the framework of the “Silver University” provision is implemented on the basis of departments in the following areas:

• Computer literacy
• Financial literacy
• Longevity and healthy lifestyle
• Legal literacy
• English for beginners A1, A2

The courses will be useful to all people in adulthood who are planning an active and interesting life. All courses are provided free of charge.

Education at the “Silver University” is carried out according to a separate schedule of the educational process.

• Course format:lectures, seminars, excursions, trainings;
• Language of instruction: Kazakh/Russian
• The duration of one lesson is 50 minutes;
• Classes are held 2 times a week according to the schedule;
• Classes are conducted in group form;
• The duration of one training course is no more than three months;
• Class format – full-time and distance learning;
• The academic year at “Silver University” is from September 1 to May 1;
• Upon completion of the classes (course), a certificate is issued.
