On October 17, 2023, at 14:00 in the reading room of KSTU named after. academician Z. Aldamzhar was held a round table on the topic: “Strengthening the role of the state language and further expanding the scope of its application”. The speaker was Associate Professor, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Public Relations Baikadamov Nurken Turarovich. The main goal is to maintain a harmonious language policy aimed at modernizing the Kazakh language based on the Latin alphabet, further enhancing language culture and developing linguistic capital, ensuring the full functioning of the Kazakh language as the state language. The following topics were discussed at the round table: State program for the implementation of language policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan; Strategic plan for the development of the state language within the university; A look into the future with a developed state language. The event was attended by students of 1-4 years as well as university teaching staff.
