In the Republic of Kazakhstan, the “Silver University” project has been implemented since 2021, which gives the older generation the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in various areas.
At the Kostanay Social-Technical University named after academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar, the first graduating class completed its training under the Silver University programs.

Training under the Silver University programs helps to maintain the activity and energy of the older generation, creating opportunities for its continuous growth and development. In addition, this project contributes to the creation of a social environment where participants can communicate, find like-minded people and friends, and interact with young people. In such an integrated educational environment, the older generation can actively participate in public life and remain involved in social processes.

On completion of the course, the project participants were congratulated by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Abilova M.S. “Dear students of the Silver University, let me congratulate you on behalf of the rector Abdullin Ruslan Batyrzhanovich, on behalf of the entire university, on the successful completion of the course! It’s very nice that you are all so young, energetic and positive. With labor achievements behind each of you, it would seem that you can take care of personal matters. Nevertheless, you are active, not only your family and friends look up to you, but also the youth and students of the city take an example from you.

Marzhankul Abilova summed up the course, which was successfully completed by 51 people, and noted the positive attitude of the students and their genuine interest in acquiring new knowledge. “Let there be new projects, new goals, and new courses in your life. After all, while we are learning, we are young, and knowledge allows us to always remain young and active. It’s great that you are pursuing your education and maintaining your intelligence.

The teachers themselves congratulated the students. All students were awarded certificates of completion of the courses.

In conclusion, words of sincere gratitude to the organizers and teachers were expressed by the project participants: “Thank you so much to everyone! Studying at Silver University made us feel young, strong and needed. Life in retirement goes on and is so interesting!” they said.
