Meeting of the commission to ensure the quality of the educational process

On February 21, 2024, a meeting of the commission for ensuring the quality of the educational process of the Department of Technical Sciences was held. At the meeting, issues on the development and updating of educational programs for Bachelor’s degrees in the following technical areas were considered:

  • B057 Information technology 6B06108 Information systems,
  • В062 Electrical and power engineering
  • 6В07126 Electrical power engineering,
  • В065 Motor vehicles
  • 6В07118 Transport, transport equipment and technologies,
  • B076 Standardization, certification and metrology (by industry)
  • 6B07510 Standardization and certification.

This event was organized with the aim of ensuring the updating and quality of education, taking into account the rapidly changing requirements in the labor market.

The composition of the commission for discussing educational programs was organized from the teaching staff of the department, employers and students of the Department of Technical Sciences. The following experts took part in the meeting: Lisovskaya Nadezhda Ivanovna – Chief Specialist of the Department of the Committee of Technical Regulation and Metrology of the MTI RK for the Kostanay region, Cherkasov Dmitry Anatolyevich – Chief Engineer of “EPK-forfait” LLP, Elibaeva Bakyttyzhuldyz Uspanovna -Chief Specialist of the Higher Engineering School of the Corporate University of “SaryArkaAvtoprom” LLP , who contributed to the analysis and discussion of the programs.

During the meeting, the expert commission reviewed draft work curricula, educational programs of the department and made recommendations for updating and supplementing the above-mentioned documents.

Particular attention was paid to updating the programs taking into account the Atlas of new professions and modern labor market requirements, which will allow graduates of the Department of Technical Sciences to be in demand in the labor market and successfully apply the acquired knowledge and skills.

Events such as a meeting of the quality assurance commission help to take a targeted approach to the development and updating of educational programs in order to ensure the quality of education, meeting modern requirements and the needs of students and the labor market.
