Today, on February 20, 2024, a meeting was held between the rector of the Kostanay Social-Technical University named after academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar, Abdullin Ruslan Batyrzhanovich, and the director of the branch of JSC National Center for Advanced Training of the Institute for Advanced Training of Teachers in the Kostanay Region “Orleu” Slesar Marionella Vasilievna.

During this meeting, prospects for future cooperation, opportunities for joint events and research were discussed. The topics of discussion covered a wide range of issues, including the combination of traditions and innovations in professional teacher training, as well as the concept of developing pre-professional teaching competence.

The meeting participants exchanged views on the importance of developing the competence of teaching staff in the context of a harmonious combination of traditional approaches and innovative teaching methods. Of particular interest were issues related to the development of functional literacy of students and the need for professional retraining of teachers.

The stated purpose of the meeting was to explore opportunities for further development of cooperation between the university and the center for advanced training in order to improve the quality of education and improve the professional skills of teaching staff. In addition, the need to organize joint events such as conferences and seminars, research projects and other activities aimed at the progressive development of the education sector was discussed. In general, this meeting provided a significant platform for academic dialogue, exchange of views and experience, as well as for strengthening interaction between the two leading educational institutions of the Kostanay region.
