On November 29, 2024, a creativity training session was held among students of Kostanay Social-Technical University named after Academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar.

Purpose: to develop intellectual qualities that are part of creativity – fluency, flexibility, originality of thinking, imagination, and the ability to find unexpected associations.

Creativity, as a system of creative abilities, can be considered from several perspectives: as a characteristic of the intellectual sphere, as an independent quality of thinking, or as a system of personal qualities. Creativity is a distinctive type of thinking that allows variation in problem-solving approaches and leads to unexpected conclusions and results.

The results of the training session showed the following: development of communication skills, ability to work in a team, growth of creative imagination, and the ability to propose and select original ideas.

The task of thinking that students faced was not so much to come to the correct solution, but to find an effective one. The number of ideas generated by participants reflected the fluency, originality, playfulness, and openness of creative thinking.
