Yerlan Slyambekovich Abeldinov, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor at the Department of Business and Management, spoke about the key initiatives of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev:
“In my opinion, the comprehensive initiatives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, should not be perceived as a rejection of the ‘alleged’ old models of governance or an attempt to ‘break away’ from the realities of the current political system. This is a different, qualitative perception of reality, based on the desire for improvement and renewal, which can accelerate the movement of society towards its planned goals.
The advantage of any system is its desire to improve, as this is where its strength and courage to admit its own imperfections lie. A deep, multi-vector transformation of society’s institutions does not involve “cosmetic” adjustments to changes in the external environment. Instead, it involves an internal rejuvenation of the system aimed at effectively addressing the challenges of public administration, which will undoubtedly enhance the well-being of citizens and the interaction between government institutions and the population.
The main thing is to ensure effective implementation.”
