On February 15, 2024, on the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, on behalf of the university management, was congratulated Imanbaev Samat Abdullevich, the departmental security officer who continues to serve in the main building of the Kostanay Social-Technical University named after academician Z. Aldamzhar.

Samat Abdullevich served in the ranks of a limited contingent of troops in the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan from 1981-1982 in Jalalabad, Nangarhar province, in the 66th motorized rifle brigade, private, mechanic driver ZSU-23-4 (police major, retired).

In the 1st floor foyer, on behalf of the university, the veteran was solemnly presented with:

– Book of memory of academician Z. Aldamzhar;

– Letter of gratitude from the rector of the university Abdullin Ruslan Batyrzhanovich;

– A present.

            On the eve of the anniversary, we wish all Veterans Warriors-Internationalists health, longevity, well-being, peaceful skies and prosperity of our country.
