On April 10, 2026, a solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of Science Workers and the 185th anniversary of the great educator Ibray Altynsarin was held at the Kostanay Social and Technical University. The event served as a significant platform for discussing the role of science and education in modern society, as well as reflecting on the rich historical legacy that has had a profound impact on the development of the national education system. The event was further enhanced by the presence of esteemed guests, including teachers from the city and region who have been awarded the Ibray Altynsarin badge in various years.
The solemn meeting was opened by the Rector of the Kostanay Social and Technical University named after Academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor Abdullin Ruslan Batyrzhanovich, who congratulated the university’s scientists and staff on their professional holiday. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of developing scientific potential and focused on international cooperation, highlighting the strategic significance of expanding academic and research ties.
The University Rector introduced the event’s guest of honor, Professor Paolo Caputo. Paolo Caputo is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Naples Partenope, Scientific Director for Eurasia at the Foundation for Cultural Leadership, Italy, an economic analyst and head of the Business Development, Marketing, and Internationalization Department, a leading scholar widely recognized in the global academic community. He has authored over 300 projects in various fields, including business creation, business management, local economic development, environmental economics, circular economy, cultural industry economics, information technology economics, and gaming industry economics.
In his speech, Paolo Caputo praised the scientific and educational potential of the Kostanay Social and Technical University. The professor expressed his interest in developing bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the prospects for implementing joint research projects and expanding international educational initiatives.
