On January 19, 2026, a distinguished guest from Almaty, Bulat Nazarovich Amirov, the grandson of Akhmet Baitursynuly (the grandson of Kali, Akhmet Baitursynuly’s brother), paid a guest visit to the Kostanay Social and Technical University named after Academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar.

During his meeting with the President of the University, Aldamzhar Bibigul Zulkharnaevna, and the Rector, Abdullin Ruslan Batyrzhanovich, the esteemed guest presented the University Library with the book “Ahmet Baitursynuly” Encyclopedia. In turn, the President of the University, Aldamzhar Bibigul Zulkharnaevna, presented the books of Academician Zulkharna Aldamzhar.

During the meeting, the Guest visited the museum of Academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar, where the museum staff member provided detailed information about the life and history, scientific, creative, and socio-political path of Academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar. Academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar was one of the first to organize an expedition to Turgay. It was the homeland of Akhmet Baitursynuly. A number of his scientific works were dedicated to the activities of Akhmet Baitursynuly. He himself was a successor to his great deeds. He headed one of the region’s leading universities and later initiated the naming of the university after Akhmet Baitursynuly.
