From 14.11 to 16.11.2025, an international boxing tournament was held in Bremerhaven, Germany. This tournament featured the strongest European boxers, and Arystan Beterikov, a student from the Kostanay Boxing School and a Master of Sports in Boxing, became the champion of the tournament. Arystan Beterikov fought three bouts in his weight category, including one against a French boxer and two against German champions, which he won by points. The 17-year-old boxer’s coach is Master of Sports and Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olzhabayev Kydyrbek.
I would also like to thank the Rector of the Kostanay Social and Technical University named after Academician Zulkarnay Aldamzhar, Ruslan Batyrzhanovich Abdulin, for his support. With his assistance, Bitekhenov, a first-year student at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, has also won championships in international tournaments in Serbia, Romania, and most recently at the World Gymnasiad, where he defeated the Brazilian champion of the Pan American Games in the final match.
I would also like to thank the Akim of the region, Aksakalov Kumar Irgebaevich, for his high level of support. He supports the boxing hall with a history, Labor Reserves, where Bitekhenov trains and where Honored Coaches Kulikov.K, Olzhabayev.K, Master of Sports of International Class Zhamankulov.B and Honored Master of Sports Khakimov.E work.
With the support of the new director of Labor Reserves, Abzulinov Gumar Galinurovich, the boxing hall received new equipment and a new ring.
After winning the World Gymnasiad, the young boxer from Kostanay was noticed by coaches from Bahrain and Malaysia, who started sending him offers. However, the young patriot of the country has decided not to accept their offers, following the advice of his esteemed coaches.
