Between May 25 and June 2, as part of the implementation of the scientific project AP23484373 “Contemporary Challenges of State Policy: Integrating the Green Economy into Addressing the Problem of Food Security in the Regions of Kazakhstan,” Professor Gulmira Kabidenovna Kabdullina from the Department of Business and Management, together with the participants of the scientific project, held working meetings in New York aimed at developing international scientific and expert cooperation.

A meeting was held with Baurzhan Talgatovich Kerimkulov, Minister Counselor of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations. During the meeting, issues related to the international sustainable development agenda, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the green economy, and food security were discussed.

A meeting was also held at New York University with Professor Jens Rudbeck, Clinical Professor at the Center for Global Affairs at New York University. During the meeting, issues related to the interconnection between sustainable development, the green economy, and food security were discussed, as well as the possibilities of using international academic and expert experience in developing scientifically grounded recommendations to ensure food security in the regions of Kazakhstan.

The meetings made it possible to expand international scientific contacts, obtain expert comments, and identify directions for the further development of research in the context of modern global and regional challenges.
