A thematic session dedicated to the quality assurance of higher and postgraduate education was held in Astana as part of the Forum “Quality Assurance of Higher Education: Current State and Development Prospects”.

The thematic session was organized at Nazarbayev University and brought together vice-rectors and heads of specialized departments of higher and postgraduate education institutions.

The event was opened and moderated by A.Zh. Yedilkhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Quality Assurance Committee for Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who noted the relevance of the issues discussed and the importance of a comprehensive approach to ensuring the quality of education.

During the session, the participants discussed the main areas of development for internal quality assurance systems, issues related to state control and risk management, as well as the implementation of modern regulatory tools in higher and postgraduate education.

The event was attended by Galia Urazambetova, Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations, and Natalia Isaeva, Chief Office Registrar, from our university.

Following the session, the participants emphasized the need to further develop state regulation mechanisms, strengthen internal quality assurance systems, expand international cooperation, and implement digital solutions in higher and postgraduate education.
