In accordance with the Network Schedule of the Kostanay Socio—Technical University named after Academician Zulkarnai Aldamzhr for September 2026, on September 8, 2026, an open lecture on “Explanation of the New Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was held in the university’s reading room.
The lecturer was Uzakbayeva Aigul Baymuratovna, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Law.
The event was attended by students and faculty of the university. During the lecture, the main provisions and key innovations of the New Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, adopted at the republican referendum on March 15, 2026 and entered into force on July 1, 2026, were considered.
Special attention was paid to the constitutional rights and freedoms of man and citizen, the principles of the rule of law, the foundations of government, as well as changes in the system of government agencies.
During the lecture, the participants had the opportunity to better understand the content and significance of constitutional reforms, their role in the further development of the state and society.
The open lecture is aimed at improving the legal literacy of students and teaching staff, forming a sustained interest in the constitutional development of the country, as well as developing the civil and legal culture of students.
