On November 14, 2024, in honor of the 25th anniversary of Kostanay Social-Technical University named after Academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar, an international round table was held on the topic “Improving the training of specialists in a competitive environment.”
The event brought together representatives of the scientific and educational community, government bodies, and leading employers of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries to discuss the issues of improving the training of specialists in the conditions of a dynamically developing labor market.

Moderators: Kaspaeva Raushan Sakenovna, Associate Professor of the Department of Law, and Komissarova Olga Vladimirovna, Associate Professor of the Department of Business and Management.

The goal of the event was to discuss opportunities for improving higher education and training of in-demand personnel, taking into account the priorities of state policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the new challenges facing society and the economy.

During the discussions, a wide range of issues was covered, including the improvement of graduate requirements, adaptation of educational programs, introduction of dual education, as well as the presentation of new educational programs of the university:

The programs were presented by Dauketova Zhanat Bakytzhanovna, Associate Professor of the Department of Law, Yesimkhan Guldana Erkinqyzy, Associate Professor of the Department of Business and Management, Oleinik Yulia Vyacheslavovna, Associate Professor of the Department of Law.

With a welcoming speech, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Jamanbalin Kadyrgali Konysbaevich emphasized the importance of updating educational standards and training personnel that meet international requirements.

Salykbayev Erlan Amandykovich, Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in Kostanay Region, highlighted the role of dual education and the adaptation of graduate requirements.

Leonov Sergey Vladimirovich, Head of the Department of Judicial Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kostanay Region.

Baikadamov Nurken Turarovich, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Public Relations of the University, presented a report on “Adapting educational programs to the modern realities of social development.”

Kozubenko Yuriy Vyacheslavovich, Head of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev, shared his experience of launching programs in public and municipal administration and strategic planning in government bodies.

Yelibayev Turar Ayanovich, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Humanities at Kostanay Social-Technical University, presented a report on the implementation of the concept of lifelong learning using the example of the university.

An important part of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between Kostanay Social-Technical University named after Academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar and the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in Kostanay Region, which will form the basis for long-term cooperation in the training of specialists for public service.

As a result of the round table, participants formulated recommendations for improving educational programs in order to align them with international standards and modern requirements of the competitive environment. These recommendations will be aimed at improving the quality and relevance of the educational process, as well as strengthening cooperation between educational and government structures.
