On December 5, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Aldamzhar readings – 2024” was held, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Kostanay Social-Technical University named after Academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar. Over 25 years, more than 20,000 graduates have completed their studies at the university, working in many sectors of our country and abroad, holding leadership positions in various structures, and contributing to the development of Kazakhstan’s economy.
The theme of the conference was “Scientific and technological priorities: development of nuclear energy and the industrial sector of the country”. The goal of the conference was to address pressing issues of integrating engineering and technical education with science and industry, as well as finding solutions to the main challenges of industrial development.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education, Sayasat Nurbek, sent congratulations on the 25th anniversary of Kostanay Social-Technical University named after Academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar. The President of the university, Aldamzhar B.Z., was awarded the departmental badge of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education – the badge of honor “Ibrai Altynsarin”. This award is given to teachers for significant achievements in organizing and improving educational processes, ensuring the unity of education and upbringing, practical training of students, and developing their creative activity.
The conference was attended by representatives of universities and research institutions from Kazakhstan and abroad, including Taubaev A.A., Rector of Esil University, Professor, Doctor of Economic Sciences, with congratulations from the President of the Association of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alshanov R.A.; Director General of the Association “Ural Laser Innovation and Technology Center”, academician of the International Academy of Pedagogical Education Sciences, Professor Dorozhkin E.M.; Professor Ganiev M.M.; and others.
Leading scientists of the Republic of Kazakhstan also presented reports, including Professor Kogamov M.Ch., Doctor of Law, Honorary Lawyer of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and others.
Greetings were delivered by Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beisenbaev E.A., as well as heads of departments of the Akimat of Kostanay region and the city of Kostanay. Congratulations were also extended by rectors of universities and heads of industrial enterprises, such as Gurtovoy D.A., Director General of the KamLit plant, and Olkinyan L.Yu., Head of the Corporate University of JSC “Allur Group of Companies”.
The title of Honorary Professor of Kostanay Social-Technical University named after Academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar was awarded to Professor Ganiev M.M. and Professor Kogamov M.Ch.

The event concluded with a festive concert featuring stars of Kazakhstani pop music.
