On May 20, 2026, a lecture-discussion entitled “The Constitution – the Foundation of the State” was held in the reading room of the Zulkarnay Aldamzhar Kostanay Social and Technical University. The event was held in the format of an open dialogue and was aimed at raising legal literacy, forming civic responsibility and respect for the basic laws of the country among young people.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the importance of the Constitution as the main document of the state, which enshrines the rights and freedoms of citizens, the principles of democracy, legality, and equality. Special attention was paid to the role of the Constitution in the development of modern society, strengthening the state, and shaping the legal culture of students.

The event was attended by university professors and students. The lecture was followed by a discussion, during which participants were able to ask questions, exchange opinions, and discuss current topics related to the constitutional rights and obligations of citizens. The event was attended by approximately 80 people.

The event was organized by the university’s departments in collaboration with the Department of Educational Work. Such events contribute to the development of active citizenship, patriotic education, and increased interest among young people in legal issues and government structures.
