On 08.11.2023, in the reading room of the Kostanay Social-Technical University named after academician Z. Aldamzhar, a lecture was held on the theme of the National program “A Great Day to Quit Smoking”, dedicated to the International Day to Stop Smoking.

The main goal and task is to prevent smoking and introduce a healthy lifestyle.

During the event, specialists from the youth center Polyclinic No. 5 LLP spoke about the dangers of smoking vapes, hookahs and electronic cigarettes. They showed a video presentation about the dangers of tobacco, heavy metals and further consequences on the human body.

Students were given the opportunity to ask questions of interest, to which they received comprehensive answers.

Information and educational material was distributed, and a group photo was taken as a memory.
