Professor of the Department of Business and Management, Candidate of Economic Sciences Abeldinov Yerlan Slyambekovich expressed his opinion on the speech of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, in which the issue of increasing scholarships for students was considered.

In particular, the minister stated that from 2025 the scholarship for university students will be doubled, and for master’s and doctoral students — increased by 1.75 times.

Yerlan Slyambekovich noted that this decision is a significant step in supporting student youth, especially in the conditions of economic instability. He emphasized that increasing scholarships will help improve the financial situation of students, create additional incentives for quality learning and reduce the financial burden on students, which in turn will have a positive effect on their academic motivation.
