The Department of Economic Investigations for the Kostanay Region on January 23–24, 2025, at the base of Kostanay Regional University named after Akhmet Baitursynuly, organized and held a very important and relevant forum on the topic: Economic Security: Improving Financial Literacy And Forming A Positive Image Of Financial Monitoring Bodies Among The Population, dedicated to the 4th anniversary of the establishment of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring.

The purpose of the forum: forming a positive image of financial monitoring bodies among the population, improving the financial literacy of the population, promoting legal informational digital culture among the youth, preventing financial pyramids and gambling, counteracting droppers and ensuring cyber hygiene, counteracting synthetic drugs and vapes.

The forum was attended by students of: Kostanay Regional University named after Akhmet Baitursynuly, Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shrakbek Kabylbayev, Kostanay Social and Technical University named after academician Zulkarnay Aldamzhar, Kostanay Engineering and Economic University named after Myrzhakyp Dulatov, Kostanay branch of Chelyabinsk State University, Kostanay Higher Economic College of Kazpotrebsoyuz, the State Institution “Department of Internal Policy of Kostanay Region”, Public Association “Youth Wing of the Amanat Party Zhastar Rukhy”, Public Association “Youth Association Zhastar”, well-known athletes of the region, bloggers and media personalities.

After the welcoming speech of the head of the Department of Economic Investigations for the Kostanay Region, Abenov A.G., a seminar-training was held on the topics:

“Counteracting financial pyramids and other fraudulent organizations”. Lecturer: Head of the 2nd Department of Operative Officers Abilkakimov D.S.

“Illegal circulation of unsecured digital assets. Mining. Crypto”. Lecturer: Operative Officer of the Department of Internal Affairs of the 2nd Department of Operative Officers Akhmadeyev V.F.

“Counteracting droppers and ensuring cyber hygiene”. Lecturer: Deputy Head of the 1st Department of Operative Officers Ashimov M.A.

“Counteracting synthetic drugs and vapes”. Lecturer: Operative Officer of the Department of Internal Affairs of the 1st Department of Operative Officers Kuzhikov R.B.

Demonstration performance of a cynologist of the Department with a service dog on the detection of narcotic substances.

In the forum program, the KSTU team showed a good result:

– Intellectual competition – 3rd place
– Cyber football – 3rd place
– Mini football – 4th place
