On November 25, 2024, a seminar on the topic “Prevention of Tobacco Smoking, Drug Addiction and Gambling Addiction” was held at the Kostanay Social-Technical University named after academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar.

The main goal is to inform on issues of prevention of tobacco smoking, alcoholism, drug addiction and gambling addiction, as well as to reduce the consumption of energy drinks.

During the event, psychologist of the State Municipal Enterprise “Kostanay Regional Center for Mental Health” Bisimbaeva G.A. and narcologist of the State Municipal Enterprise “Polyclinic No. 3” Talgatbekov M.T. spoke about the effect of psychotropic substances on the central nervous system and the harm of smoking on the bronchopulmonary system, and also showed a video on this topic.

Students were given the opportunity to ask questions of interest, to which they received comprehensive answers, and informational and educational materials were distributed.
