On September 30, a film screening and discussion of the feature film “Artificial Justice” took place in the university’s reading room. The event was attended by students and faculty members from the Zulkarnay Aldamzhar Kostanay Social and Technical University and the Kostanay Social and Technical College. The film sparked lively interest and discussions, as it addressed important issues related to the role of technology, digitalization, and artificial intelligence in the legal and justice systems.

The discussion has become particularly relevant in light of the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which emphasizes the need to develop and promote science and technology in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as Kazakhstan’s integration into the global scientific and technological space. In accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a series of events will be held in the country from September 29 to October 4, 2025, as part of the Artificial Intelligence Week.

Artificial intelligence is one of the key drivers of technological progress and economic development. The film screening and subsequent discussion were an important part of this large-scale initiative: they allowed students and teachers to look at the possibilities and risks of using artificial intelligence in legal practice, broaden their horizons, and think about the future of the profession.
