On December 23, 2024, at 18:00, near the main entrance to the “Youth Boulevard” alley, a solemn tree lighting ceremony of the KSK microdistrict took place. Dozens of residents of the microdistrict, including small children, came to see the lighting of the New Year tree, which created a festive mood and filled the microdistrict with the atmosphere of a winter fairy tale.

Before the tree lighting ceremony, on behalf of the Rector of the Kostanay Social-Technical University named after Academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar, residents and guests of the microdistrict were congratulated on the upcoming New Year 2025 by the Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Public Relations – Baykadamov Nurken Turarovich, and a congratulatory speech was also delivered by the Chair of the Council of Veterans of the “Tekstilny” microdistrict – Gryzlova Valentina Ivanovna.

The program of the event featured a concert show with the participation of faculty, students, pupils of the Kostanay Social-Technical University named after Academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar and the Kostanay Social-Technical College, as well as Father Frost and Snow Maiden.
