On May 17, 2023, in the reading room of the Kostanay Social-Technical University named after academician Z. Aldamzhar, a lecture was held on the topic “We are for Kazakhstan without tobacco”, timed to coincide with the month of World No Tobacco Day.

The main goal and task is education on the prevention of smoking, promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

During the event, the specialist of Railway Hospital LLP Nikiforova E.E. spoke about the dangers of smoking vapes, hookahs and electronic cigarettes. She showed a video presentation about the dangers of tobacco and its further consequences on the human body.

Students were given the opportunity to ask questions of interest, to which they received exhaustive answers.

Informational and educational material was handed out; a group photo was taken as a keepsake.
