Valentin got acquainted with the history of metallurgy in China, which he liked. I attended interesting lectures by Professors Thilo Riren, Meghna Desai, and Lew Seran.
In addition, Valentin visited the Metallurgy Museum at Beijing University of Technology, where he saw exhibits of slag, metal ores, tools made of various metals, and tools used in China.
On September 22, he attended a joint NACA-Cyl seminar on scientific approaches to archaeology.
As a result of his participation in the summer archaeological school, our student gained new educational experience that helped him understand real archaeological work and develop his scientific competencies.
