The Students’ Palace of Culture hosted a meeting of the Kostanay Region Police Department with university and college students as part of the Youth Forum on Drug Addiction Prevention.

During the meeting, young people had the opportunity to openly talk about the consequences of drug use and distribution, as well as learn about the real stories of people whose lives have changed dramatically because of drugs.

A particularly strong impression was made by the performance of a woman who was serving a sentence for selling narcotic drugs. She shared her story and talked about the consequences of her choice, emphasizing that one mistake can change a lifetime.

A demonstration performance by a specially trained service dog was also held for the students, who demonstrated the skills of detecting prohibited substances.

Such meetings not only help to raise the level of legal literacy, but also show young people the real consequences that can occur when they become involved in drug trafficking.

Choose your life. Choose your future. Say NO to drugs!
